Retail ETF intelligence · Europe

European retail ETF data: see the market before the market sees it.

Share anonymised ETF activity from your platform. In return, benchmark it against the peer group and see how your platform is performing on product adoption, savings plans and holding behaviour.

  • What you share: holdings, flows, savings-plan activity and retention, anonymised at platform level.
  • What you get: a peer benchmark showing where your platform leads or lags, and where retail demand is building before it shows up in published fund data.
  • What we never collect: personal client information. Contributing is confidential, with no obligation.

Open to neobrokers, investing apps, brokers and robo-advisers.

Aggregated

Built directly with major European retail platforms.

Platform-level activity only. No personal data.

Standardised

Every field and identifier aligned to one schema.

Daily

Refreshed every day, with API access if you want it.

Why contribute

Every platform sees only its own corner of the market.

Your data shows what your clients do. It cannot show whether that is normal, early or unusual. Contributors benchmark against the peer group and see how their platform is performing, with context no single platform can build alone.

  • Peer benchmark

See how your platform compares with the wider group of European retail platforms on product adoption, savings plans, holding behaviour and more, without seeing anyone else's data.

  • Earlier signals

Spot where retail demand is building across platforms, often earlier than published fund data shows it.

  • Evidence for your decisions

Use an independent benchmark when you review your product range, talk to issuers, plan what to feature next or document your product governance.

The exchange

You bring your data. The group gives you context.

Your platform

We standardise

ETF Explorers

Every contributor's data is aligned to one schema and combined into a single benchmark.

You receive

Your team

Peer-wide insight drawn from every contributing platform. The benchmark sharpens with each platform that joins.

No platform can see another platform's data. Fields, format and delivery are agreed one platform at a time.

FAQ

Questions platforms ask us.

Short answers on data, privacy and getting started.

What is ETF Explorers?

ETF Explorers brings anonymised, platform-level ETF activity from European retail platforms into one standardised dataset. Platforms that contribute can benchmark themselves against the peer group.

Which platforms can contribute?

Neobrokers, investing apps, online and execution-only brokers, robo-advisers, bank-owned investing platforms, savings-plan and pension platforms, wealth and fund platforms, and white-label investing providers that serve retail investors in Europe.

What data do platforms share?

Aggregated, anonymised activity at fund level, such as holdings, flows, savings-plan activity and retention, in a format agreed with each platform. ETF Explorers does not receive personal data or client-level records.

Can other platforms see my data?

No. Insight is built from the combined contributor group, and no platform can see another platform's data.

What does a contributing platform receive?

A peer benchmark showing how your platform is performing against the wider group of European retail platforms on product adoption, savings plans, holding behaviour and more, plus independent evidence for product range, issuer and distribution decisions.

Is this connected to the EU Retail Investment Strategy?

It is related, but not a requirement. No rule currently requires firms to use usage analytics. A peer benchmark can help platforms evidence their product governance and value-for-money reviews. See our Insights for more.

How often is the data updated?

The dataset is standardised to one schema and refreshed daily, with optional API access.

How do we get started?

Write to us with your platform name and the markets you serve. We reply personally, then agree the fields, format and delivery with you. Nothing moves until you are comfortable.

Can ETF issuers and index providers use the aggregate view?

ETF issuers, index providers, market makers and research teams can ask about access to the aggregate view.
